Friends of Zambia visit CHEP

This is excellent work, exclaimed Eugene Patson when the Friends of Zambia visited Ipusukilo Community School in Kitwe on June 1, 2005.Friends of Zambia visit's Ipusukilo Community School
Mr. Eugene Patson was the team leader of the Friends of Zambia from the United States of America that visited CHEP in the company of Zambia’s Ambassador to the USA, Honourable Dr. Inonge Mbikusita Lewanika.

Dr. Inonge Mbikusita Lewanika described the meeting as being very fruitful and hoped that CHEP would continue with the wonderful work of supporting the community and the vulnerable children.“Congratulations and many thanks for your contribution to the nation and the community”, Mr. Eugene Patson said after visiting Ipusukilo Community School.
Mr. Geoffrey Chavula the head teacher of the community school thanked the Ambassador and the Friends of Zambia team for visiting the school. Ipusukilo Community School was initiated in 1996 by the community with the help of CHEP. The school has a total of 1,226 pupils of these 180 males and 136 females are orphans.

The Friends of Zambia were happy with the initiative of the community and CHEP that has been taken to better the lives of the vulnerable children in the area.
